For the fourth year the Retzakas Trail Run as a trail running race gives you the opportunity to discover the waterfall "Rezzaka" and the natural beauty of the area. It is addressed not only to athletes, mountain or road runners but also to walkers and nature lovers. Our aim is to promote and disseminate the sporting spirit, the promotion of the natural beauty of our land, but also to raise awareness of the always topical environmental issues and the issues of freedom of our mountains.
First in the 24,2Km Retzakas Challenge with a time of 2:09':16" finished the Thodoris Tsolakis of the group Arkalos. With an impressive presence in Athletics and road races, Thodoris has jumped to the trail with his participation in several trail & mountain races with equally impressive performance, which he proved in the Retzakas Challenge of 2024
First in the women's general category of the 24,2km Retzakas Challenge with a time of 2:38':10" finished the Ariadna Golubenko . With a very good performance the first woman was only in 8th place in the General Ranking which came to us from Estonia, an athlete with a presence in Athletics in previous years in her country. So we can say that Ariadna, she came, she ran, she won...
Relaxed, the "usual suspects" and good friends Antonis Kostakis and Stavros Zaganas, finished together in the first 2 positions of the 6,8Km Regcas Entry with times of 42':57" and 42':58" respectively, in a race that they went "off" but enjoyed every meter of the route, as can be seen in the photo where they stood "relaxed" and were photographed with the waterfall in the background without the stress of performance.
