ACCESS TO PLOKAMIANA
With your own vehicle
You can reach Plokamiana with your vehicle by following the same road to Lafonisi (via the provincial road of Kissamos - Elos - Chrysoskalitissa - 28km from Kissamos, 60km from Chania). Plokamiana is located after the village of Vathi, 10km before Lafonisi and 7km before Chrysoskalitissa (See here: https://bit.ly/plokamiana ). The starting - finishing point is the old Primary School of Plokamiana and is located 400m from where you can park your vehicle (See here: https://bit.ly/trailrun22start ) where there will be signage and space.
Travel with the organization's route
There will also be a bus service for the route CHANIA - KISAMOS - PLOKAMIANA with return bus and cost 5€. Those who want to travel by bus should indicate this during the online registration of the race.
The route will start from CHANIA (bus station) at 07:00 a.m. exactly, and at 07:45 a.m. from KISAMOS (Municipality of KISAMOS) and is expected to arrive in Plokamiana at 08:40 a.m. Departure from Plokamiana at 15:30 p.m. for return to Kissamos and Chania respectively. Pre-payment of the 5€ fee can be made by depositing the payment for your participation, or upon boarding the bus by a person of the organization. The itinerary will NOT have intermediate stops and the departure times will be strictly observed

Participants with completed registration from mainland Greece who choose to travel to Chania with ANEK LINES ships to run in the Rezakas Trail Run 2026 (from 20/01 to 05/02) can take advantage of the discount by sending an email to trail@retzakas.gr by Sunday, 18 January 2026, stating:
